Introduction

Do you think your life is terrible?

The technogenic way of development has turned out to be a dead end and humanity is in grave danger. Our world is dying. Burned by nuclear wars, devastated by natural disasters, and betrayed by the infinite greed of humanity.

“Earth is devastated by overpopulation, fallout and radioactive contamination, climate crisis, food and water shortages, scavengers, cannibals, and ghouls. Hundreds of millions of desperate and unemployed people, often referred to as the Ronins, saw space colonization as a massive opportunity.”

Multinational mega-corporations dominated the planet, you are exposed to harsh propaganda from birth and have to put up with it if you want to survive… Your every move is under surveillance. Now there is no time to enjoy the sun and the babbling of the stream. A new time has come…

Angelic. What it is

Angelic is a narrative Strategy RPG on Unreal Engine 5 backed by the blockchain and set in a collaborative sci-fi metaverse. Development is handled by Metaverse Game Studios on Solana blockchain.

The project is handled by a very experienced team that has received support from influential foundations. According to CEO Erkan Bayol, they have exciting plans: “We HAVE to build this universe together with our players. This is the future of gaming.” So what’s so exciting about this game? What can players expect?

“Players will be able to join Neo-human alliances, form guilds, build space stations to establish control over space sectors, colonize nearby planets, research technologies, craft weapons and expand their party.”

Sounds gooood. You may also be wondering why the team is developing the game specifically on blockchain? First, they plan to create a DAO for the community to have influence on the development and management of the game’s ecosystem. Second, players will be able to create cosmetic items, ships, and hero NFTs to use in the game or trade with fellow players and collectors. In my opinion, these factors greatly increase interest in the game and player engagement.

Heroes

There are 8 different heroes available in the game, each with a unique backstory, features and race.

Each hero has 4 types of skins (Default skin, Legendary, Angelic and Arch-Angelic tiers), which become available when you reach a certain rank. I’ll show you, using the Iset hero as an example, how cool they look:

Angelic’s NFTs and all that is already known about them.

The team announced the possibility of mint posters (Angels of Chaos), which could be obtained by actively participating in their Discord.

The team decided to go beyond just mint, and offers an interesting mechanic for burning posters. The more unique posters you collect and burn, the more valuable the reward will be. There are currently 2/8 possible posters available that are traded on Fractal (Gathering Storm NFT) and Magic Eden (Aurora) and still six unique posters left and you have the opportunity to get them by actively participating in Discord.
