EVERSEED. How I fell in love with this project.

A product for the community. A product for people.

Backstory

When I first got to the Everseed Discord server I was surprised by the team’s attitude to the community. It was a warm, almost friendly relationship, admins communicated openly, politely, in the chat room there was a very friendly atmosphere. I read their blogs on substack, talked to the team, attended an AMA session and fell in love…

Everseed is a new, wondrous world of enchanted flora and fauna. Adventure awaits those who dare delve into the overgrowth, searching to collect rare seedlings. Each seedling type is unique, but they all help players grow and farm various resources. Seedlings and other goods can be traded freely in a player-owned economy, influenced by player governance. Everseed is the sprouting of a new community-first society.

The idea

The idea behind the project is to grow plants, make money and help our planet (the team promises to donate most of the proceeds to non-profit organizations fighting climate change). I think these kind goals are what caught my attention when I looked at the project.

Communication and culture

The admins in the chat room from the first days of the Discord channel persuasively explained to me that they do everything for the people, which means that every stage will be fair, without cheating and bots. You had to apply for chat access — the community considered it and gave an answer by voting — if negative, you had to wait 7 days to reapply. The most active chat participants were given an Allowlist role, which gave the participant a guaranteed spot in the NFT sale. The moderators monitored this daily, and in my opinion, they managed to create the right atmosphere. Within a week, all active participants had received their role and were allowed to participate in the sale. At that point, about 4,500/5,000 spots were distributed. I attach an excerpt from a conversation with the admin, which I liked a lot.

Preparing for the Sale

The team was very thorough and published detailed instructions on how to prepare. The Mint was held on their own site https://elixir.everseed.com, you just had to connect your Discord Account and Solana Wallet. Everything was done to a high standard, as people in the chat room had almost no questions about how to do it.

Sale

The sale itself went great. I have participated in many sales and have often seen various errors, flaws, and the like. Here, however, everyone was able to get their NFTs without a rush, with low commissions and at a low price (1 Sol). (By the way, their NFTs are traded x5 to the sale price — you can check it here: https://magiceden.io/marketplace/everseed_rangers). The remaining ~500 NFTs were sold a day later at a public sale, in less than a minute. Decent result!

Then we use the elixir to create the Avatars of our Rangers.

It was fun and interesting! I loved the graphics and the style of the avatars!

CONCLUSION

I will highlight three things that particularly hooked me in this project: Quality of the product=the work of the team, a noble goal, and an honest attitude toward the community. I already bought their NFT and I believe in a great bright future for these guys! What are you waiting for?
